Let's meet up for some cross country skiing! We have many people on the team that ski or are wanting to try. This is open to femme non-Follies as well!

Happy Jack is a groomed ski area with some touring routes as well. We will meet at the Tie City Trailhead (not Happy Jack Trailhead) at 10am! There is a warming hut with a wood burning stove, as well at pit toilets. Access is free with an America the Beautiful National Parks Pass. Otherwise day passes are needed.

Just a warning: the weather/wind in the parking lot can seem horrendous! Have no fear, the trails are very protected by the trees and conditions are much nicer than the parking lot.

Jax in Fort Collins can rent classic skis that are appropriate for beginners.
Fast Haus Ski House in Laramie is a great location for renting more intermediate+ classic skis and skate skis. Skate skiing is extremely fun but has a pretty significant learning curve at first. If there is interest, we can try to get a group rental from Fast Haus.
